The English Language Education Doctoral Study Program was established based on the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Number 479/E/0/2021, and has met the minimum accreditation requirements.

The study program has Program Educational Objectives (PEO) that at the beginning of their career, within three to five years after graduation, graduates of the English Language Education Doctoral Study Program will be able to be professional educators, scientists and consultants who have the main task of transforming, developing, and disseminating science, technology, and art in the context of English Language Education through education, research, and community service. The graduate profiles are characterized by six attributes which include:

1) deep discipline knowledge and intellectual breadth,
2) professionalism and leadership readiness,
3) digital capabilities,
4) character and emotional intelligence,
5) communication, collaboration, creativity and problem solving, compassion, dan computational thinking, and
6) investigations.
