Singaraja – The Preschool Study Program (PAUD) at the S2 level at the Postgraduate Program of Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) reaffirmed its commitment to advancing early childhood education by organizing a Seminar and Workshop titled “School Readiness For Early Childhood” on October 18, 2024. The hybrid event successfully garnered enthusiastic participation.
Held at the FIP B Undiksha Room and via the Zoom Meeting platform, the workshop was officially opened by the Coordinator of the S2 PAUD Program , Mrs. Nice Maylani Asril. In her opening remarks, she expressed hope that this seminar would deepen participants; understanding of school readiness as a critical foundation for optimizing Early Childhood development.
The main session featured Mrs. Euis Kurniati, an experienced keynote speaker, who presented the intriguing topic: “The Meaning of School Readiness: Is It Fair and Relevant?” Her presentation sparked lively discussions among the attendees, which included students from S2 PAUD, S1 PGPAUD, Lecturers and Leaders from the Faculty of Education Science.
The participants’ enthusiasm was evident during the question and answer session, where the interactive dialogue created a dynamic atmosphere. Critical questions and innovative perspectives emerged, highlighting the importance and practical applications of the school readiness concept.
Through this seminar, Undiksha not only reinforced its role as a leading educational institution but also positioned itself as a pioneer in raising awareness about the significance of school readiness for Early Childhood development in Indonesia.
