Singaraja – The Postgraduate Program at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) hosted an academic visit from the State University of Padang (UNP) on Thursday, November 14, 2024. Held in the Postgraduate Auditorium, the event was officially opened by the Director of the Postgraduate Program at Undiksha. In his welcoming remarks, he emphasized the importance of  collaboration in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and expressed hope for fruitful academic partnerships between the two institutions.

The visit was attended by the Undiksha’s postgraduate leadership, including the Vice Director II, the Head of Internal Quality Assurance Unit (PJM), the Head of Quality Assurance Team  (GKM), and Coordinators and the Secretaries from several Study Programs from S2 and S3 Language Education, S2 and S3 English Language Education, also S2 Education Science.

The main agenda of the meeting focused on discussing postgraduate program management, including quality assurance mechanisms at both the University and program levels. The interactive discussions provided an opportunity for representatives from Undiksha and UNP to share and explore best practices implemented at their representative institutions.

The visit culminated with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), symbolizing a mutual commitment to supporting academic and institutional development. The event concluded with a group photo session, representing the spirit of synergy and togetherness.

This academic visit is expected to serve as a positive first step in strengthening relations between Undiksha and UNP while also contributing to the enhancement of higher education quality in Indonesia.
