Malang – The Integrity Zone (ZI WBK-WBBM) team from the Postgraduate Program at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) conducted a benchmarking visit to the Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FTP) at Brawijaya University from November 5 – 7, 2024. The visit aimed to learn about the Integrity Zone, including the Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) and Birocracy Zone (WBBM). Led by the Vice Director I of the Postgraduate Program, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Arnyana, M.Si, the Undiksha team was warmly welcomed by the leaders and the staff of FTP at Brawijaya University in Malang, East of Java.
This benchmarking activity supported Undikhsa’s ongoing efforts to enhance the understanding and application of the ZI WBK-WBBM within the University environment. The goal was to reinforce anti-corruption commitments, improve service quality, and foster institutional collaboration while developing competent human resources (SDM) capable of driving bureaucratic reform.
The Undiksha team engaged in comprehensive discussions with stakeholders from FTP at Brawijaya University. These discussions focused on strategies and practical approaches to successfully implementing the Integrity Zone. Additionally, the team observed several key innovations including management practices, internal monitoring systems, human resource development, and sustainable mechanisms.
The insights gained during this benchmarking activity will serve as a valuable reference for Undiksha in designing an Integrity Zone strategy tailored to the university’s specific needs and conditions. With the strong commitment of its organization elements, Undiksha aims to apply anti-corruption principles effectively, strengthen institutional governance, and also improve the quality and sustainability of public service.
Following this benchmarking visit, Undiksha will focus on implementing the strategies and knowledge acquired from FTP at Brawijaya University. The Postgraduate Program hopes this process will run efficiently and effectively, further supporting bureaucratic reform and enhancing service quality assurance across the university. This collaboration is expected to contribute significantly to creating a transparent, accountablem and service oriented educational environment, thereby reinforcing Undiksha’s position as a leader in academic integrity and innovation.
