The development of COVID-19 has brought many changes in all sectors of life. Especially having an impact on the world of education so that learning is carried out online. The development of technology is now very helpful in the world of education and other sectors of life. With advances in technology, it can create opportunities to generate rupiah coffers without even having to leave your home.
Education is one aspect that requires the implementation of technological developments in the current era of the COVID-19 pandemic. One example of the application of technology in the world of education is the webinar activity. Webinars are routine activities carried out by the campus to share knowledge, insights and experiences from resource persons to webinar participants, especially students. This webinar program is very beneficial for students. This webinar is being held online using Zoom considering the current situation is still during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Master of Computer Science postgraduate study program at Ganesha University of Education conducted 2 webinar activities with participants of Master of Computer Science students and participants from outside students at Ganesha University of Education. The theme raised is: “User & Alumni Sharing Session: Implementation of Local Wisdom in Research in the Field of Computer Science and Information Technology”. This webinar activity was carried out in collaboration with alumni and resource persons from Telkom University who also attended this activity. Given the situation is still a pandemic, the webinar is held online using a zoom meeting.
The presentation of material from resource persons from webinar 2 activities is as follows:
The first resource person from Telkom University by Prof. Dr. Suyanto, S.T., M.Sc, he served as a Professor at Telkom University by presenting material on the Development of Reset in the Field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
Then the second resource person from the Computer Science Alumni S2 at Ganesha Education University by Mr. I Wayan Gede Suweca Antara S.Kom., M.Kom, he is a teacher at SMK Negeri 1 Evening teaching in the field of Simulation and Digital Communication subjects. He presented material on the Implementation of Local Wisdom in Research in the Field of Computer Science and Information Technology. Local wisdom discussed is culture/customs (wariga), language/literature/script (primbon bali/Javanese), traditional tools/media (kulkul/kentong, sunari, bell, gamelan) which are applied in the field of computer science, namely decision support systems, artificial intelligence, data mining, digital image processing, mobile computing and the internet of things (IoT).
The third resource person from the Computer Science Alumni S2 at Ganesha Education University by Mr. Putu Eka Widastra Hary Candana, S.Kom., M.Kom, he served as Data and Information Analysis. He brought material about the Comparison of Fuzzy Tsukamoto, Mamdani and Sugeno in Determining the Good Day of Marriage Based on Wariga. The implementation of the Balinese aka calendar system into a web application is carried out by analyzing and designing. Documents of reasoning knowledge of the Balinese aka calendar resulting from interviews with wariga experts are made into function modules in the application. This module includes: formulas for calculating the aka year of the Balinese calendar, wewaran, wuku and ingkel, calendar, penglong, full moon and tilem, sasih and nampih sasih and Hindu holidays. Tests on the days produced by the Balinese aka calendar application were carried out through validation of the comparison of the constituent elements of wariga. This comparison is between the day of the application and the day on the printed Balinese calendar (I Ketut Bangbang Gde Rawi in 2020 and 2021). From 54 comparison samples, it was found that the result day of the Balinese calendar application had 100% conformity with the printed Balinese calendar day. This suitability supports the constituent elements of the wariga as the result of the application, which consists of wewaran, wuku,date/panglong, sasih and ala ayuning adults which can be used as the basis for calculating the fuzzy logic of Tsukamoto, Mamdani and Sugeno.
