Singaraja – The Ganesha Education University Postgraduate Program held a doctoral promotion exam on Tuesday, 20 June 2023. The exam was conducted by promovendus, Gede Hendri Ari Susila from the Basic Education Study Program.

In the offline exam, Gede Hendri presented a dissertation entitled “Development of Brain and Muscle Game Methods to Improve Students’ Responsible Character and Physical Fitness”. Development of a brain and muscle game method using Dick and Carey designs. The design of brain and muscle game method developed has been designed from preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities by syntax, social systems, reaction principles, supporting systems, and instructional and accompanying impacts. The research results show that the brain and muscle game method is valid, practical, and effective to apply. Referring to these results, it is recommended that PJOK teachers apply the brain and muscle game method to improve the responsible character and physical fitness of students.

The success of this Singaraja-born promovendus in defending his dissertation before the board of examiners led him to become the 65th doctorate born from the Undiksha Postgraduate Program.
