Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha)has finalized the declaration of a corruption-free territorial integrity zone (ZI-WBK) for all faculties and postgraduate programs. This is demonstrated by holding a workshop on 12-13 December 2023.
This activity presented Young Expert Apparatus HR Analyst, Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Muhammad Ali Akbar as a resource person. The workshop which took place in the Undikhsa Postgraduate Program Auditorium was attended by the ZI-WBK team from faculties and postgraduate programs.
Undiksha Chancellor, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, accompanied by the Deputy Chancellor and Head of Bureau, said that Undiksha has launched ZI-WBK in 2023. This is one form of bureaucratic reform. It was also emphasized that the integrity zone is in line with Undiksha’s vision, namely to become a superior university in Asia in 2045 based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy. Tri Hita Karana is harmony and suitability between what is said and what is done. Therefore, a ZI launch team was formed at the university and faculty level at Undiksha.
According to him, implementing ZI-WBK at the higher education level will not be difficult if it performs and provides services by regulations. ZI-WBK can be realized well if you can make yourself an initial role model.
The launch of ZI-WBK Undiksha was carried out in September 2023 and was attended by the Inspector General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Ministry of Research and Technology, Dr. Katharina Mulyana.
The main objective in developing ZI-WBK is to prevent corruption, collusion, and nepotism and improve the quality of public services. In its implementation, this is realized by continuously increasing performance accountability, drawing up performance contracts, and holding outreach on anti-gratification and overcoming corruption.
In ZWBK there are six aspects of development, namely change management, structuring governance, structuring the HR management system, strengthening accountability, strengthening supervision, and improving the quality of public services.
