Guest Lecture by Prof. Dr. John Vong from ICAM Singapore was held on 1 November 2020 via online platform (Zoom). This activity was aimed to increase students’learning experience by interacting with lecturer from other institution. The participants of the lecture was mainly semester 1 students of Management Science and it was also opened for students from other universities. The topic was on Emerging Economies, a chapter of the Contemporary Management Issues course.

The session was officially opened by the Director of Postgraduate Program of Undiksha and facilitated by the course convenor.  Prof. Vong presented his  topic around 45 minutes and then the students were invited to the discussion and the Question and Answer Session. Students were  actively participated during the lecture, posed several questions, and engaged in the discussion. Prof Vong invited students to comment on the global phenomenon related to the topic being delivered.  At the end of the session, the majority of students commented that a guest lecture by an international speaker helped them improve their listening and speaking skills. Although, only a few mentioned that they had a minor problem in understanding the materials.  Nevertheless, Prof. Vong appreciated the warm and positive interactions and suggested to continue having this kind of session. In fact, he stressed that he would be pleased to deliver another lecture in the near future.
