On Monday, April 4, 2022, Singaraja – Postgraduate Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) held a doctoral promotion exam. The exam was followed by a promovenda, Siluh Nyoman Alit Nuryani, from the S3 Educational Sciences study program.
In the offline exam, Alit Nuryani presented a dissertation entitled “Development of a Web-Based Inlet Integrated Nursing Leadership Training Model.” Her research is related to how to develop competence for nurses in the future. “This is indeed my passion, and I like to share knowledge, especially in my environment. So I thought that by studying at Undiksha, which focused on education, I was interested in doing this research, “she said. Her dissertation was successfully defended before the Board of Examiners and led her to become the 33rd doctor who was “born” from the Undiksha Postgraduate Program. Promovenda, who was born in Sempidi in 1976, admitted that the results of her research will continue to be developed and used for training, especially in nursing leadership. “Whereas nurse managers in the future, it is very important to always be equipped with leadership to become a competent and professional nurse manager,” she explained.
During her doctoral education at Undiksha Postgraduate, she admitted that she did not experience any significant obstacles because the lecturers, promoters, and co-promoters were very good and always supported her. “There are no problems,the lecturers, promoters, and co-promoters are very good, they are very supportive, starting from determining the title and how to help during the product development process; the inputs are quite numerous and I feel happy studying here,” she said.
On the other hand, Undiksha Postgraduate Director Prof. Dr. I Gusti Putu Suharta, M.Si, is proud of the birth of this new doctor. She also expressed her appreciation for the research carried out because it is useful and useful for the working environment. “Here she raised a new training model that fits the current era, which can be web-based, which is certainly very useful for increasing the competence of nurses to become leaders,” she said.
