Rector of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., opened the Workshop on Preparing Guidelines for Revitalizing the Study Program Curriculum in the Undiksha Postgraduate Program, at the Aneka Hotel, Lovina, Monday (9/10/2023).
It was conveyed that the birth of a new policy from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) from 26 episodes of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) was intended to provide more autonomy to universities, in this case, study programs as holders of academic authority. This can happen if the study program coordinators and staff can organize the curriculum so as not to shackle students. If so far in the postgraduate program learning outside the classroom has not received recognition, it has not been counted, then with Ministerial Decree 53 it can be counted.
He added that the curriculum is no longer based on a unified standard of academic administrative nature, but on how the curriculum can provide flexibility for students so that they are not trapped in administration developed by lecturers or administrative systems.
On this occasion, the Chancellor Prof. Lasmawan expressed his appreciation to the Undiksha Postgraduate Program for organizing this activity. It is hoped that this postgraduate curriculum will truly be able to take the form of something that gives students freedom of movement so that they can have the commitment expected by society.
Attended by the Study Program Coordinator and Study Program Secretary within the Undiksha Postgraduate Program, Monday (9/10/2023) at the Aneka Lovina Singaraja Hotel
