Singaraja – The Postgraduate Program at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) successfully held two doctoral promotion exams on November 13, 2024, at the Postgraduate Auditorium. Conducted in two sessions, the exams showcased the exceptional scientific contributions of the promovenda and promovendus, who defended their dissertations with distinction.
In the first session, Devy Stanny Walukow from the Education Science Study Program presented her dissertation titled “The Influence of the Edutainment Approach HOTS-Based on Civic Education Learning Outcomes of Students at Pelita Harapan University in Karawaci.” Demonstrating exceptional academic prowess, Devy successfully defended her research before the examiners and graduated with a Cumlaude predicate, achieving a GPA of 3,90. This remarkable accomplishment makes Devi the 132nd Doctoral graduate of the Postgraduate Program at Undiksha.
The second students featured Hasbullah from the Language Education Study Program, with a focus on English Language Education. His dissertation, titled “Developing Experiential Learning-Based Supplementary English Speaking Materials for Nurse Students at Qamarul Huda Badaruddin University of West Nusa Tenggara,” impressed the examiners with its quality and relevance. Hasbullah graduated with a very satisfactory predicate and a GPA of 3,74, becoming the 133rd Doctoral graduate of the program.
The Director of the Postgraduate Program at Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., expressed his appreciation for these outstanding achievements. He highlighted the significance of the new doctors’ contributions to advancing education at both national and international levels. This milestone reaffirms Undiksha’s commitment to producing highly competent human resources who actively contribute to the progress of education and knowledge.
