Singaraja – Undiksha Postgraduate Program Auditorium, Monday (20/02/2023) Deputy Director I and Deputy Director II welcomed the visit from Palangka Raya University in the context of a Postgraduate Comparative Study to improve services and academic quality at the Postgraduate Program at Palangka Raya University.
Deputy Director II, Prof. Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Pujawan, M.Kes. On this occasion, he conveyed the history of the birth of the Ganesha University of Education until the birth of the Postgraduate Program. Currently, the Undiksha Postgraduate Program has 22 study programs in the educational and non-educational fields. Among these study programs, there are 5 new study programs, namely a Doctoral Degree in English Language Education, a Doctoral Degree in Educational Technology, a Master in Environmental Management, a Master in Early Childhood Education, and a Master in Chemistry Education. The new study program is currently actively promoting it to reach more prospective new students. The Undiksha Postgraduate Program has several A/Excellent accredited study programs which can be the goal of prospective students to obtain LPDP scholarships. In the 2022 odd academic year, the Undiksha Postgraduate Program will have an international class for the Education Science Study Program with a total of 15 students and in this odd semester, it will be opened for the Management Science Study Program.
From the Postgraduate Program at Palangka Raya University, attended by the Postgraduate Director, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Sudyana, M.Sc., Assistant Director, Head of Study Program, and general staff who will assist in the accreditation improvement process. During the visit, Prof. Sudyana conveyed the current conditions at the UPR Postgraduate and what things needed to be improved after hearing the sharing from the Undiksha Postgraduate.
Through this visit, it is hoped that cooperation will be established not only at the postgraduate level but also at the study program level. Collaboration that can be carried out apart from joint teaching is sharing publications, which can encourage assessment during accreditation to achieve maximum marks.
During the visit, academic sharing and tips for achieving Superior accreditation status were carried out. Both parties agreed and were committed to implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, such as joint teaching, guest lecturers, visiting professors, and sharing publications in journals managed by each party.
