Various efforts in order to provide additional knowledge insights to support the teaching and learning process in the Master Programme in Accounting, Postgraduate Programme, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha are continuously being carried out. One of them is through Guest Lecture activities that present Expert Lecturers from abroad. Guest Lecture is an alternative in increasing the scientific knowledge of human resources, both lecturers and students. In addition to the things already mentioned, the purpose of the Guest Lecture is also to enrich students’ knowledge of a course.
The Master Programme in Accounting conducts Guest Lectures on several subjects, one of which was Strategic Management. To increase knowledge in Strategic Management courses, the Master Programme in Accounting, Postgraduate Programme, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha in collaboration with Griffith University held a Guest Lecture in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, namely on Sunday, November 7, 2021. With education and training by this expert lecturer, students would be equipped with additional knowledge of strategic management including strategic management implemented in various countries.
The guest lecture activity was carried out online through the zoom application which was taught by Dr. Lanita Winata, MBA, Bcom ACC (Hons), CPAA. The guest lecture activity was carried out with material presentation, then continued with discussion, and ended with closing.
The parties involved in the guest lecture activities with expert lecturers from Griffith University in strategic management courses are the Master Programme in Accounting, Postgraduate Programme, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha as the organizer of the activity and Griffith University as the supervisor who provides assistance for educators (non-permanent lecturers). The guest lecture activity with expert lecturers from Griffith University in the strategic management course was attended by first and third semester students of the Master Programme in Accounting, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha and expert lecturer from Griffith University who filled the course, Mrs. Dr. Lanita Winata, MBA, Bcom ACC (Hons), CPAA.
Students of the Master Programme in Accounting as participants had additional knowledge and insight related to strategic management courses delivered by expert lecturers from Griffith University, namely Dr. Lanita Winata, MBA, Bcom ACC (Hons), CPAA, so that students gained additional knowledge about strategic management, including strategic management implemented in various countries.
