On Thursday (9/12/21), a closed examination of the doctoral dissertation of the Language Education Study Program students was held, on behalf of Suparwoto Sapto Wahono. The exam, which started at 09.00 WITA, involved 10 examiners, namely Prof. Dr. I Gusti Putu Suharta, M.Sc. (Chairman), Prof. Dr. Drs. I Wayan Rasna, M.Pd. (Coorprodi), Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suandi, M. Hum. (Promoter), Prof. Dra. Luh Putu Artini, MA., Ph.D. (Co-Promoter I), Prof. Dr. I Made Sutama, M.Pd. (Co-Promoter II), Prof. Dr. I Nengah Martha, M.Pd. (Internal Examiner I), Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Sudiana, M.Pd. (Internal Examiner II), Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Putrayasa, M.Pd. (Internal Examiner III), and Prof. Dr. I Putu Mas Dewantara, M.Pd. (Internal Examiner IV), and Prof. Dr. Didi Sukyadi, M.A. (External Examiner).

The exam begins with a dissertation study by promovendus with a dissertation entitled “Development of English Language Course Textbooks Based on 21st Century Learning Skills.” Questions and answers were then conducted to explore Promovendus’ understanding of his dissertation. The exam went smoothly and was full of family. It was decided that Promovendus passed the closed examination with an “A” score and was welcome to go to the next stage with improvements/inputs given by the examiner.
