Financial crime is growing along with the rapid development of technology. To overcome the growing financial crime, it is necessary to reform and strengthen all efforts to prevent or eradicate various forms of financial crime.
Based on this, to improve the latest competencies in overcoming all types of financial fraud, the Master Programme in Accounting, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia held a visiting professor in the Even Semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year, on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10.00 WITA – finished with the theme “Current Competencies in Combating Financial Crimes”. With this visiting professor activity, participants would be equipped with additional knowledge in improving the latest competencies to overcome all types of financial fraud.
The visiting professor activity with the theme “Current Competencies in Combating Financial Crimes” was carried out online through the Zoom application by inviting an extraordinary resource person in providing material and sharing experiences.
This activity began with an opening speech by the Postgraduate Director of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha who on that occasion was represented by Vice Director I of Postgraduate Programme of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. Then proceed with the presentation of the material by the speakers. After the presentation of the material, it was followed by a discussion and question and answer session between participants and resource persons, and ended with the presentation of conclusions by the moderator. Participants in this activity are free of charge and get facilities in the form of e-certificates, knowledge, and materials.

Participants in this activity gained additional knowledge and insight related to the latest competencies in overcoming all types of financial fraud.
