The activity “Educational Leadership in the Era of Society 5.0” is a form of UNDIKSHA higher education tri darma, namely Education and Teaching, on November 29, 2021. The organizer of this activity is a lecturer of the Master of Education Administration Study Program, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Natajaya, M.Pd as chairman, Dr. I Gusti Ketut Arya Sunu, M.Pd as secretary, and 1st semester Master of Education Administration student, with the first speaker being Prof. Dr. Aan Komariah, M.Pd, Professor of the Indonesian University of Education and Advisor to the Center for PROMAPI. The second resource person is Dr. I Gusti Ketut Arya Sunu, M.Pd, Lecturer at Undiksha Postgraduate AP Study Program and Chair of PROMAPI BALI. Participants in the webinar, which was opened by the Undiksha Postgraduate Director, were attended by education practitioners, principals, teachers, students, and students, which totaled 525 people.

Currently, the world is getting ready to leave the era of society (society) 4.0, namely the era of information technology,towards society 5.0. Society 5.0 is a society that utilizes technological innovations in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 to help human life become more meaningful, especially in the field of education. Knowing the magnitude of the role of leadership in preparing the institution he leads to meet society 5.0, In this national webinar, we will discuss: 1) Educational Leadership in the Era of Society 5.0 in improving the quality of education; 2) Strategy of National Educational Leadership in the Era of Society 5.0.

This program is an annual program of the Education Administration Study Program, which is a product of seminarcourses and training for students in the first semester. This National Webinar is held in the context of improving education and teaching on community development 5.0 in line with the industrial revolution and technological innovation currently developing in society, and this webinar activity is conducted online.

Era Society 5.0 is a society that can solve various problems and challenges of social problems that arise due to technological innovations in the 4.0 revolution era. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 occurs when robots are connected to computer systems, equipped with machine learning algorithms that can learn and control the robot itself without input from a human operator, known as artificial intelligence (AI). Society 5.0 is a time when a human-centered society balances economic progress with solving social problems by a system that integrates cyberspace and physical space. Society 5.0 will balance economic development and social issues.
