A. Registration Requirements

Every prospective Undiksha Postgraduate student must meet academic requirements and administrative requirements according to applicable regulations.

(1) Academic Requirements

a. Prospective Master Programme Students
    1. Graduates of Educational or Non-educational Bachelor Programmes; equal or linear;
    2. Graduates of the Graduate Programme who are not linear, with approval from the Postgraduate Study Programme Coordinator, fulfill the requirements set separately by the Postgraduate Director by considering input from the Study Programme Coordinator.
    3. Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) for Bachelors/Applied Bachelors is 2.75 (two-point seventy-five);
    4. Pass the selection, including the potential academic test, the field of study test, or a portfolio assessment.
    5. Have a minimum TOEFL score of 475, except for the English Education Study Programme, which has a score of 500. Suppose prospective students do not have the required score, even though they have excellent academic potential. In that case, the person concerned is still accepted, provided that at the time of the thesis test, they have a score of 475, except for students of the English Education Study Programme who have a score of 500.
b. Prospective Doctoral Programme Students
    1. Graduates of the Master Programme in Educational or Non-educational Study Programme in the same or the same area as the Doctoral Programme to be pursued;
    2. Graduates of the Master Programme who are not linear but have received approval from the Study Programme Coordinator and fulfill the requirements set separately by the Postgraduate Director by considering input from the Study Programme Coordinator.
    3. The minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) for Master Programme is 3.00 (three-point zero);
    4. Pass the selection, which includes the potential academic test, the field of study test, writing scientific papers, or with a portfolio assessment.
    5. Have a minimum TOEFL score of 500. Suppose prospective students do not have a TOEFL score of 500, even though they have excellent academic potential. In that case, the person concerned is still accepted, provided that at the time of the closed examination, they have a minimum TOEFL score of 500.

(2) Administrative Requirements

Prospective students of the Master and Doctoral Programmes submit online or offline :

a. Legalized photocopy of bachelor’s and/or master’s certificates and transcripts;
b. Photocopy of the list of scientific papers produced during the last five years (for Doctoral programme);
c. Curriculum Vitae; and
d. Recommendation from two competent people (supervisor or lecturer/supervisor in previous education).
e. TOEFL Score
f. A completed registration form;
g. Authorized supervisor’s permission letter for those who have worked.
h. Especially for graduates of foreign universities, their certificates have been equalized by the Ministry of Education and Culture or other authorized officials.

B. Transfer Student

(1) Student transfers from within and from outside Undiksha may be considered based on the following provisions :

a. meet the requirements regulated explicitly by the Undiksha Postgraduate Director;
b. available places, facilities, and educational infrastructure in the intended study program;
c. transfer of credit that allows completion of studies; and
d. The student passed the academic selection held by the Undiksha Postgraduate Program, especially related to the intended study program.

(2) Determination of acceptance of transfer students from within the Undiksha Postgraduate environment or outside Undiksha is carried out by the Director on the consideration of the Coordinator of the intended Study Programme.

C. The Process of Transferring Between Study Programmes in the Undiksha Postgraduate Environment

(1) Transfer students between study programmes within the Undiksha Postgraduate environment must submit a written application with solid reasons for moving.

(2) The transfer application letter is addressed to the Postgraduate Director with a copy of the intended Study Programme Coordinator accompanied by the following attachments:

a. photocopy of Study Report Card each semester and GPA statement, which is legalized by Vice Director 1 of Postgraduate or Head of Academic, Student Affairs, Planning, and Cooperation Bureau;
b. Approval letter to move study programme from direct supervisor for those who work or sponsor for sponsors.

(3) Transfer students who have received approval to be accepted are issued with a Letter of Approval for Transfer by the Postgraduate Director and given to the student concerned with a copy to the Study Programme Coordinator.

D. The Process of Transferring Students from Outside Undiksha Postgraduate Programmes

(1) Transfer students from outside the Undiksha Postgraduate Programme must submit a written application with solid reasons for moving.

(2) The application letter for transferring students from outside the Undiksha Postgraduate programme is addressed to the Undiksha Rector, copied to the Undiksha Postgraduate Director and the Study Programme Coordinator, accompanied by the following attachments:

a. study report card per semester and GPA legalized by the origin university;
b. certificate of a temporary permit to move from the origin university;
c. a letter of recommendation from the original Postgraduate Director, stating that the student concerned is a student of good behavior and has never violated the rules;
d. decision letter to move from parents/husband/wife for students who apply for transfer because the work unit has impacted the parents/husband/wife’s place of work;
e. a study permit from an authorized supervisor for students who are already working; and
f. a statement that the person concerned is not in a state of losing his right to study due to not meeting the academic requirements of the university of origin (dropping out).

(3) The deadline for submitting applications is two weeks before the administrative registration period under the provisions of the Academic Calendar.

(4) A transfer application cannot be considered if the submission exceeds the time limit as referred to in point (3).

(5) Transfer students who have received approval are made a Certificate of Acceptance by the Postgraduate Director and given to the student concerned with a copy to:

a. Undiksha Rector;
b. Rector of the original university; and
c. Coordinator of the intended study programme.

(6) Transfer students from outside Undiksha at the registration are subject to Undiksha Postgraduate education fees following the Rector’s Decree.

E. International Students

(1) International students are students who are not Indonesian citizens who take part in the Undiksha Postgraduate study programme.
(2) Admission of international students is carried out through a selection organized by Undiksha Postgraduate.
(3) International students who take the Academic Education Programme are subject to regulations applicable to regular students and other relevant laws.
(4) International students who take the Special Programme are subject to different regulations.
